I have a 2002 Chevy suburban that loses about 1 quart of oil every 1000 miles. There's no oil under it and it doesn't smoke, but there are oil spots on the back of the lift gate. I have had it to 2 different mechanics and neither could.find the problem.. Please help it runs great and has 235000 miles on it.

try a UV tracer dye designed for oil.
