Scotty I just bought a 2013 GMC Terrain SLT1 with 106,000 miles on what can i expect and did i make a good choice?

I'm a mechanic so I look it over underneath and test drove it. Everything is in good condition . One previous owner who did regular maintenance. 2.4L FWD

I think you overpayed by a lot and I feel bad for you because those are far from decent SUVs but if you drive conservatively and maintain it I guess it might be OK for a while I don't think its worth a dime over 4-5k but you bought it so take care of it.

It is smart to know the common issues with a vehicle. The most common issue is the transmission not shifting correctly (average mileage of occurence is 105,000) and AC issues.

Good luck!

All depends on the price I would not pay too much for that vehicle

I paid 9000 and put 3200 down. Had it for a week now and run great, its got all the bells and whistles which i know are more things ti just fail someday. Lol. How many miles have you seen though 2.4liters last till if you take care of them and use Lucas oil treatment? I still have 2005 pontiac vibe that's rockin 260,000 miles lol. Never had a problem with it. Wanted a toyota but nothing around here in Ohio more than 12,000 for something decent

Pontiac Vibe is basically a rebadged Toyota and far superior to an Acadia.
