I have an automatic, 2005 CRV, with 184,000 miles on it. It has a code for a faulty Knock Sensor, and after changing the sensor myself the code won't go away. What do you think the problem might be? I want to take it for a road trip from ATX to AL, and am trying to get everything in order first. I bought it used and have done all the maintenance myself over the years. I've done a lot, from fluid changes to suspension systems, and this is the only repair that I haven't been able to fix.

Well only use an original equipment factory sensor cuz the cheap ones made in China are junk. But if you have a good sensor either the wiring is bad or the circuit in the computer that drives and knock sensor is bad it would take a mechanic like me to check it with his equipment
