Got a 2005 Hyundai Tuscon here on the Hawaiian Islands with 148,357 miles on it
There is something up with the brakes. When driving for a while the brakes seem to heat up and then the car slows down as the brakes progressively engages. Then you have to wait for the brakes to cool down before continuing. I've had the brake pads, rotors and calipers replaced but I can't seem to get to the core of the issue

Well, the brakes are sticking generally. It means either the rubber brake hoses of collapsed inside need replacing or the brake master cylinder sticking on and it needs replacing

I had a similar problem 2011 Santa Fe and it turned out to be wheel hubs.
