2005 infiniti g35 coupe (auto)
hey there! recently had a minor collision in the infiniti where we rear ended someone. a crash sensor was deployed and the car instantly shut off. no airbags. car came right back on after some work but the transmission goes straight to ‘3’ when putting the shifter in ‘D’. just wondering, after doing all the resets i can find and this still persists, think it needs a new transmission? thanks

Not necessarily.
Take it to a tranny shop for diagnostics.
