Does anyone know if a 2005 Mazda Tribute is a reliable used SUV? The one I’m looking at is $5k and has 80k miles.

They are a re-badged Ford Escape. I have known a few people that have had them and they are OK. Have a mechanic check it out, especially the transmission as they have had trani issues and rot issues as well.

my sister drove one for 10 years, put 150K miles on it, still has it as a spare at 220 something
