The car has been great so far, there is a weird noise when i accelerate, sounds like a repetitive like tapping noise when i accelerate. Sounds like from the engine or exhaust. Not a ping noise but like air or something tapping or farting over and over lol hard to explain. Also there is a noise when the car is running, when i push in clutch it goes away. Like a running/ slight grinding/ or vibrating noise. The car has 132k miles and it still runs and drives great. Is it worth keeping or is it time to sell it? It has that infamous water leak if you dont keep that port in firewall clear. The car has some electrical problems, the Tac will show lower RPMS than really is only some times. The windows and radio will go out randomly sometimes on long road trips. The horn stopped working. Fuse is good. Like a short somewhere.  Just looking for suggestions on what those noises could be and if i should keep the car or not. is 132k miles alot for a 4.0 v6 mustang? 5 speed manual trans. WILL NOT TAKE MY CAR TO MECHANIC. Theyre all shady and over charge you where i live. Dont trust them.

Well, it sounds like that car is in need of some pretty expensive repairs like a new clutch kit and exhaust work to say the least. Not having a horn is straight up dangerous IMO. It doesn't sound like a car worth sinking a couple thousand bucks into but that's most likely what you're looking at. Those repairs are not simple things I would attempt by myself at home unless you're experienced and very well equipped. For example, the transmission has to be removed to do the clutch. Just fixing the horn could prove difficult because of the air bag. I'm guessing the intake manifold has to come off to address the coolant leak, lots of work.

I think you need a good mechanic and a big budget. 132k miles is right about when things will start to fall apart if the car wasn't looked after. Good luck.
