2005 Nissan Altima Noise

Hello, I have a 2005 Nissan Altima with the 2.5 L engine, automatic transmission, ~92,000 miles, and no codes. It sat for an extended period of time but it runs and drives pretty well. The main complaint is that it is very loud. The original idea was that it might have an exhaust leak, but I’ve ruled that out because the noise doesn’t change with engine speed. The noise changes based on vehicle speed. The faster you go, the louder the noise. It seems like it’s coming from the rear of the car and just sounds like road noise from the tires but it’s way louder than it should be. The tires are relatively new and have been balanced and rotated regularly. Is there anything that can be done to reduce the noise?

Check each wheel bearing (wheel hub assembly) for play (looseness).
