picked up a 2012 mazda 3 a year ago. Replaced a few suspension parts and runs beautiful. Only problem… the bose “premium” speakers aren’t working anymore. Went to turn the car on one day and got a whole lot of nothing. Checked the fuses, head unit and all the connections running into the amp. Everything seems fine to me - and the weird thing is the speakers up and turned back on about a month ago and ran for a few weeks before going back off again. Thoughts on the issue?
It’s not uncommon to see the AMP/Head Unit fail on these 2nd gen Mazda 3s (basically a euro Ford Focus MK2)
I’d go either to an electrician, or to a shop that professionally installs audio equipment - they might know what would cause those symptoms or have known-good parts to test what’s wrong.
