I have a 2005 5.3 LT 2wd Suburban with 220,000 miles. Put a new gm trans in it afew years ago and I'm replacing all the brake lines now. Two questions I'm thinking about.
Should I replace the radiator soon as its the org. one with plastic sides. I worry if it goes out it might take the trans with it.
Should I go ahead and replace the water pump and hoses since they are so old and so many miles?

That radiator is way past time to be changed, it's 20 years old. The plastic is embrittled and could crack at any time.
Replace rubber hoses, including brake hoses.

How many miles since the water pump was last replaced? If it's the original water pump or if you don't know if it's ever been replaced then I would replace it.
Yes. And while you are at it, you could replace the thermostat (OEM) as well. 😉
