I just bought a 2005 Toyota Corolla automatic transmission with 85,000 miles. I want to know if it would ok to change the transmission fluid. I don’t know if it has ever been changed. I’ve heard you say that if you never changed the transmission fluid that you should not change it. What should I do?

I'm pretty sure he prefaced that statement with some qualifiers. Otherwise you would never change it, and he repeatedly says there's no such thing as lifetime fluid
