Can a lined pickup-truck bed be permanently damaged by mold contamination?

I have a 2004 Mazda B2300 pickup truck with a lined bed.  The bed in question was recently contaminated by mold.  Will the bed in question be permanently damaged if it's not clean soon enough?  I do admit that more than 48 hours have passed since the contamination.  I'm worried about mold spores myself.

What is your truck bed lined with, manure? ( That's a joke.)

50/50 mix of bleach and water

but rinse it very well afterward. Bleach isn't good for metal.

Sorry @mmj, forgot to put that part in.  Thanks!

Just use some white vinegar in a weed sprayer or a 50/50 mix of bleach and water and spray it on.  The mold will be eliminated.

I guess I should have said that it's been more than 48 hours since the contamination began.

if you eliminate the conditions for it's growth (cool, damp), then it will probably go away on its own.
