2005 Toyota Corolla LE 100K Transmission Fluid and Filter Change

Hello! I recently purchased this car and only the transmission fluid has been changed. I am thinking of dropping the pan and replacing the filter and gasket. Should I use OEM or is it fine to use aftermarket? The price difference is pretty significant.

I saw this aftermarket kit I saw but afraid to not use OEM only.

Thank you.

After market is fine.

I would usually want to stay oem for parts, but for the filter you should be fine. For any filter just make sure it is a quality piece from a reputable company.

Cool, thanks for the response!

felpro, wix are pretty good and not too expensive.

The one in your link looks a bit dodgy.

Okay. Thanks for the input I will look for one of those online.
