- I have the opportunity to purchase a one owner well maintained vehicle. It does have 212,000 miles on it. The cost would be 3200-3400. Is the car a good value and is the price during a car shortage reasonable? From looking for weeks around the Raleigh area it seems good to me.

I would pass. It has too many miles and the price is still way too high if you also consider this pandemic.

If you’re serious about the car though, have it inspected by a professional mechanic & if he/she gives you the green light, offer $1500-$2000 & see what happens.
