2005 Toyota Corolla that I bought and barely have been driving it for a month. I was scammed. But the car is still in decent condition. Recently the brake pad wore into the caliper. When AAA came to tow the car to the mechanic I could see fluid on the ground. The mechanic fixed the brake but the steering was stiff the next day. Since then I have been buying steering fluid like bottled water. What could be the problem with the steering? One thing after another with this car.

your power steering rack is leaking and needs to be replaced.

You can try some AT 205 sold all over. May seal it up last resort.

More than likely the rack is bad, I agree with Jack use the AT 205 for last resort.
