Is there another way to check to see if it’s burning oil besides looking at the dip stick?

Check the tailpipe. If you rub your finger on the inside and there is thick black soot, then you know it's burning oil. Learned this from Scotty 🙂

You can also check the spark plugs. if it burns carbon;, it shows on the spark plugs.
