I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4. Automatic transmission and about 210,000 miles on it.
When sitting at a stop light I can feel vibration in the truck.
If I put it in neutral the vibration is gone and it is smooth running like normal.
As soon as I put in drive the vibration comes right back.
Also when sits all day at work on a level parking lot and I get in it to head home it will not want to shift. It will rev really high until I rump on it and then it will shift like normal.
Not sure if this has something to do with the vibration but figured I would include it just in case it helps.
Old age and realize if it's an automatic the torque converters do wear someone as they age and they will do that when you put them in gear with that kind of age and pulling off the transmission and replacing it rebuilding the transmission is really expensive most guys just live with it
Thank you. It's hard to find people that know there stuff with cars these days. Thank you for doing what you do.
