2005 Tundra A/C not functioning

Hello Scotty! Enjoying your channel and all the information, keep up the good work!

I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra with the 4.7 V8. The past year or so the A/C hasn't been blowing any cool air while parked and idling. However once you give it throttle while parked and drive down the road it cools down.
I recently used A/C recharge and the pressure guage read it was fine and in the green. Yet it still stops working.
what are the possible issues and what can be done to fix it?

thank-you!

"In the green" doesn't mean much of anything as far as air conditioning diagnosis. It does not at all mean that things are "fine". Have you hooked up a real manifold gauge set to properly check system pressures?

Check for operation of cooling fans when the AC is on, including condenser fan if so equipped. Hopefully that "A/C recharge" did not contain sealer that can potentially clog up your system.

You probably blocked up your system by using that junk in a can from the auto parts store.
