Hey Scotty, I know you aren't a fan of old Subarus, but I found an 05 wrx, manual, with  125k miles on it, being sold for 6500. The timing belt and water pump have been replaced at 110k miles, oil changes were done every 3k miles according to owner. Also the price is that high because the guy is selling 3 sets of wheels with the car. Do you think this would be a reliable daily driver that will last for a few years?

I would not buy it but if you love the car, have a mechanic check it out. Those are notorious for blown head gasket.

If the head gasket is not blown and I replace it would it last and be reliable?

If you replace it and the mechanic check the whole car and gives you ok, it can be a good one. Pay much less than what the seller asked for since they are not popular as the STI version.
