Hey Scotty what do you think of the Jeep Gladiator.
Just good lookin crap is all. The Jeep name has been destroyed between Chrysler and now the French and Italians they make them look good and have all this tech attached but it’s all cheap. Jeep was known as simplistic and ultra tough. Now it’s known as crap, nothing else.
The Gladiator is one of those vehicles that just is what it is. It is extremely effective off-road, especially in Rubicon trim, and the interior is nice in a rugged kind of way. But on-road handling is not great, front leg room is limited, and reliability is predictably terrible (exactly what you would think from FCA-Stellantis).
If you want one and you know you want one, then get one and just accept the flaws. The initial hype is past, so you should be able get a reasonable deal on one (at least you could before this whole supply chain crisis thing). But if you just want a mid-size 4x4 truck, you will almost certainly be happier with a Toyota Tacoma, Ford Ranger, or even a Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon; all of those will handle better, be more livable, and more reliable (even the GM ones).
I'll stay with my Jeep Comanche pick up. 4 L inline 6
Unfortunately, they are made by Fiat, arguably, the worst auto manufacturer in the world. The sure look good as long as they're parked, though.
