2006 350Z - Low Oil Pressure

I have a 2006 350Z with 275K miles on it. I'm the original owner.

Recently the oil pressure light started coming on at idle and oil pressure gauge near goes to near zero. Scared the hell out of me, but when I checked the oil it was fine.

Took it to my local mechanic shop. The shop changed the oil sensor and said problem solved.

A day later, oil pressure light came back on. Shop said it sounded serious and it may cost upto $5K to diagnose and fix, blah, blah, blah.

After hours of research on the internet, i've come to the conclusion that it maybe the Oil Galley Gasket. It sounds like a major job I don't want to tackle (which is what the shop said). I got qoutes ranging from $1,800 to $4,000.

Btw. There is also an oil leak no one has been to determine where it's coming from. I now assume it's coming from the same place.

Question is, do you think it's worth fixing on a car with that many miles? Cosmetically the car looks very good inside and out. I take good care of my cars.
