Hello, Scotty

Love your Youtube channel. I am looking for a used car for my bother-inlaw.

What do know about and think about a 2006 Acura TSX?

Private seller, reported .. man are there a lot of scammers out there.

184000 Miles

4 Cylinder

Automatic

Asking $4,350 in the Central Ohio area.

Regards, Floridaman

TSX is a blast! All of them all the way ‘till ‘08. Starting with ‘09, … not so much, … still good enough.

Anyway, … you, however, have to find a good one, … or walk otherwise. It’s a difficult task, since these cars are driven hard. Especially the ones that have second owners. They get modified a lot, too.

But, … if you find a good one? Excellent cars, …

They are basically Honda's. They are pretty reliable but sometimes the owners don't take care of them and if you drive them too hard the auto's can become demolished. Bring it to a mechanic and have him check the automatic transmission and make sure it's not burning oil. If it all checks out, go ahead they are great cars! The 4 cylinders are more reliable than the 6 cylinders. 180k miles is a lot so pay less like no more than 3500.

Thank you all for the input.

LOL - the pink was a surprise!

Well maintained, very clean example. Ran my Bluedriver and only had warnings about the ABS and communication drops.

No Trouble codes.

Drove get with smooth shifting. Great to find a 14 year old this nice. It will out-live my brother-inlaw.

I would also consider the TL and find one with one owner as they are more luxurious and well built while th TSX is more sporty and could be ragged out.
