Hey Scotty Can you tell me why Periodically the amp gauge in my 2006 Chevrolet Silverado will go down under 14volts for a couple of seconds and then jump backup? When it does the motor seems to Hesitate for a second. otherwise runs good. Thanks

well if your fan belt doesn't slipping that means that the alternator dials are probably starting to go bad I would replace the alternator
Thanks When I test it with my external test meter it reads the same all the time?
