Hey are the 2006 Chevy impala ss better than the v6?

Good engines, trans are the weak points on them. Not to mention electrical issues.
The V6 of that year wasn't great.
Honestly, the previous gen impalas with the 3.8 were better than both. Problem is even they ate transmissions up too.
Why do you ask?
