Hi Scotty very sorry to bother you but I got a serious question I've been trying to work on my 300 for the past 3 weeks - a month and a half this honestly all started because I went through a little flood with my car my car ended up stalling and not wanting to restart I hooked it up to a battery charger for almost an hour and a half still didn't start and then it ended up starting and then I took it out somewhere and I got stuck kept trying to restart it found out there was no fluid in the radiator but when I got it towed to a mechanic shop it started and then I took it from the mechanic shop to a family members my car would not shift at all I was afraid it was going to stall on the road but it did not. A few days later I tried to start my car it started but there is a knocking noise coming from the engine or from underneath the engine we ended up taking the spark plugs out because they were drenched and they were very bad after we replace it the spark plugs it wanted to start but it won't he keeps trying to accelerate itself if you know what I mean it won't turn over all the way the dots mean accelerating ..... ...... ....... ...... it doesn't idle and it keeps doing that while it's turned could you tell me what the problem could be because a lot of people have told me they're thinking it's a head gasket some other people are telling me it's a piston but I've been watching your YouTube videos for weeks and I think you're the best person to go to about this
Probably Time to say goodbye with water get sucked into the engine it bends the Piston rods inside the engine and the whole engine needs rebuilding which is a fortune on one of those things. But if you're a gambling Man you could always try a used engine from a salvage yard
