Hi Scotty,
My 2006 Civic LX AT with 175K miles jolts slightly when the engine is cold in the morning and then it shifts like a dream when it gets to operating temperature. Same happens for downshifting.
The ATF (Honda fluid only) has been always regularly taken care of and it is red/pink at this point. It's driven conservatively here in Phoenix, AZ
Is this symptom a solenoid issue or something else bad about to happen? Can I fix it?

truthfully that's just how those automatic transmission age I would live with it because to rebuild one of those transmission correctly cost between three and $5,000 not worth it some guys will gamble with a used transmission but of course that's a big river boat gamble itself
