2006 Dodge Dakota - preventative maintenance

Good afternoon Scotty,

I own a 2006 Dodge Dakota SLT with a 3.7 liter engine. It currently has 139,000 miles on it, and it is running well so far. Unfortunately, it's not getting any younger and it's getting more and more miles with it. What kind of preventative maintenance I should perform on it to have it last much longer, and what kind of problems I should be expecting in the future?

Change the oil every 5k miles. The transmission fluid every 35k miles. Check the coolant. If you did all 3, then you are good.

Look at the owner's manual and see what needs to be replaced/checked at what mileage.
