2006 Dodge Grand Caravan EGR P0404

I have a 2006 Grand Caravan with 130,000 miles. I recently got a P0404 code for the EGR. The van started having no power going up hills. I can usually go up this hill everyday holding speed at 55, now I'm lucky if it stays up to 30. It also seems like it waits to shift until the RPM's get higher than normal. I changed the EGR and put new plugs and wires in it but that did not fix the problem. It stills runs and idles fine and accelerates normal on flat roads. It is the 3.8 motor. I also have a code for P0420 which has been on for a long time. I just clear it and get it inspected. Anything else I should check or could the catalytic converter finally be plugged up. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

Check the cat. It might be clogged up. Check the front and rear of the cat. Scotty has a video on that.
