$17,000 for an 18-year-old Ranger? You didn't just get burnt, you've been incinerated. Even if the mileage is legit (very suspicious) that thing is old enough to vote.

That little mileage for an 18-year-old vehicle? That's highly suspicious. The only possibility I can see is if it were owned by a frail old person who never drove it. They definitely took you through the cleaners, though. You could get a minimally equipped Maverick for $23,000.
