I have a 2006 ford ranger v6 idles rough put new spark plugs colles wires and a new distributor still idles rough
So many things to make them idle rough check for vacuum leaks have the fuel injection pressure cleaned even a worn out edge with bad piston rings can do that start with the basics and work your way up

Just a wild guess, when was the last time you replaced the PCV valve?
I have a 2001 Ranger 6 cylinder. I checked my records.
"Rough running" fixes were: replaced coil, and another time I had a spark plug wire arcing on a bolt, so I replaced the wires. You've done both of those things.
If you're sure there's no vacuum leak, try replacing the PCV valve.
It's probably due. Can't hurt.
