Natural gas

If conservatives are concerned with cheap and  abundant fuel and liberals are concerned with low emissions,  why aren't both sides clamboring for natural gas vehicles? It's a win- win.   Is there a logistical  problem or political? What would it cost to convert a gasoline vehicle to natural gas?

It's actually very easy to convert any gasoline engine to run on natural gas the problem is the tanks explode and many companies tried that and then there was a big explosion where family died in Chicago when I got hit by one of those natural gas trucks and that was pretty much it. The lawyers got involved

natural gas is the next level. more research has to be spend and billions of dollars put in the table. is not as easy as it seems, i agree with scotty.

it's a gas, which means now you have to involve pressure vessels. It's dangerous, and not as practical to work on.
