P2294 Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 Control Circuit Open
When starting the vehicle after clearing the codes the vehicle starts and idles normally. Its a manual. I begin to drive down the road no issues. I pull up to the main road no issues. I pull out on the main road and begin to accelerate then a shutter, a thump, the car falls on its face, a buck, the car peels out and surges, a flash of the EPC light, the car settles down the drives down the road normally, we are up to speed 65 mph. Intermittent thumps , accompanied by the flash of the EPC light, eventually everything is lit, The EPC light stays on the check engine lite stays on. I use my odb2 scanner to check the codes.. Not to mention the relays under the dash click every time the EPC light flashes.
The only code present is the P2294/$07E8 P2294 Fuel Pressure Regulator 2 Control Circuit Open
Checked relays~replaced, checked filter~replaced, checked HPFP with regulator~replaced.
Now I have the LPFP out of the car. I have tested the pump pumps. and I am stumped. All the fuses appear to be good. Whats the problem I am facing anybody know?
