Scotty,
Is it a good idea to use a hearse as a daily driver?
Thanks.
Depends on the vehicle, and no American made hearses come from the factory as a hearse. See what the vehicle was prior to the conversion (Lincoln MKS for example) and see if that particular year/car is reliable. I could see where one of those would be really useful for someone who needs to haul a lot of stuff. People might think you are weird, but hey who cares?
As for the additional questions, i would go back to what exactly is the base model of the car? If that year model is dependable for daily driver, long distance, etc then yeah go for it. Also, if you get one pretty quickly after it was sold by the funeral home or whatnot, it has probably been very well maintained. I do wonder if there is significant additional weight added when it is made into a hearse, but probably not much.
Bright side...you could have fun putting a name on it in the windows....Him and Hearse, Hearcedes, Hersey Highway. Ok maybe not that last one lol.
omg {blackemo}:laughtertotears:

that's perfect. All motorcycles should come with these, because that's where you'll end up.
Only if you work in a busy funeral home.
- Other drivers might give you more room on the road.
- Great for halloween
- If you're into the "Goth" look, the hearse would take it to the next level.
- Plenty of room to take a power nap in the back.
- Good for hauling planter boxes, lumber ...
Is a Hearse better as a daily driver, weekend toy, or lomg distance travel vehicle?
