I’m looking at brand new Hyundai or Kia especially the small suv Venue or seltos. I heard that you’re not fan of korean cars but I think both of them are assembled in Korea while it has 10 year warranty and costs much less than toyota or Honda while new. I’m planning to keep like 10 years and not like 20-30 years lol. Would it be a good choice?
Hyundai/Kia products cost less for a reason and dealers will bend over backwards to deny their much-advertised 10 year/100K mile warranty (which only covers engine and drivetrain). Of course expecting any new vehicle these days to last 10 years without major problems is a sporting proposition, but some are worse than others. (You don't have to take our word for it. Do an internet search using search terms such as "new cars are junk".)

No. The Toyota and Honda will way outlast that Hyundai. You get what you pay for. Hyundai has had problems with oil burning vehicles for years. If your car burns a quart of oil per 1,000 miles, even when brand-new, dealerships won't touch them. It's "normal". It's not normal. My 2014 F-150 has 176k miles on it, I changed the oil 2,000 miles ago, I checked it the other day and it's still full. Hyundai, Genesis and Kia are all around just shoddy vehicles.

No, it's not. 10 years is a pretty long time to keep any vehicle, let alone Kia/Hyundai/Genesis products. Nobody here is going to tell you what you want to do with your money. Hyundai has a reputation for building crap cars; that's why they upgraded their warranty. It's to make it seem like they care. They don't. Dealerships will fight tooth and nail over whether or not stuff is normal. It comes out of the dealer's pockets when they honor their warranty. If your car winds up being an oil burner from day one (and they have an extensive history of), you're stuck with the car payment. You get what you pay for.

You just finished saying that you heard Scotty tell you to avoid Korean cars. He didn't change his mind today. They truly are awful, and the warranty is a sham. They cost less for a reason.
@imperator I heard that Scotty says Korean cars that is made in Korea are better built than ones made in the US in some of his videos. I don’t know if that’s the case for these new models since they’re Korean built but I’m not really familiar with Korean cars in general and I plan to keep cars for only 10 years and then get rid of it
