Hi Scotty
2003 Oldsmobile Alero 2.2
Codes: C1226-rf excessive wheel sensor, C1275-pcm serial data
I had my windshield installed back in 2020. I didnt know it was installed incorrectly. Water was getting in my car. In 2023, I installed my own windshield wipers, one wipe, my car shut down then rebooting back up. I made it home. After a few days, no start. I replaced battery. Everything was working well then went back out again. So I changed the bcm. No programming other than with the key 10 minutes. Water was still getting it so i took to the windshield people to reseal although they saying its not their fault. But something is still draining my battery so I disconnect every time I drive once make it home. I do notice much corrosion inside the fuse box and residue in the wiring of BCM terminals. Radio dont work no more. AC/Heater works but one knob highest level. I cant pass emissions. Trying to figure out what to do. No engine light showing on display only the Vehicle Service one and thats probably for the ECBM or speed sensor. This scan was in September 2024. I am located in Atlanta, GA. Mileage: not sure but between 168-172k miles. I did test fuses and some just wouldnt light up even after changed.
water ingress is a nasty business. You probably have corroded wires and it's going to be a nightmare to track it all down.
Here are the diagrams. Good luck.
