Why is my Accord rumbling at low speed.

I have an Accord EX 4 Cyl, 5 sp automatic, with 250,000 miles.  At about 30 mph, on a slight uphill, I get a bumping noise, not unlike running over a rumble strip.  I'm beginning to think my torque converter is failing.  I heard you mention a Honda recall on certain Accord transmissions.  Does this apply to me?  What are torque converter failure symptoms in this car?  How much will a repair cost?

You could call Honda get your VIN number see if there's anything recalled but with that mileage on it you'd be hard for us to get them to fix anything free if you did have to do the transmission or torque converter over that's a very expensive endeavor if you have to pay for it
