I came across a 2006 infiniti m35x with 187,000 miles. I just need a car that'll get me from point A to point B. The guy is willing to sell it to me for $2500. He apparently has all the service records and has owned it for many years after getting it from his father who purchased it new. The passenger side muffler needs to be welded to the resonator assembly. I put my scan tool in and no codes were shown. I also plan on buying the carfax before purchasing the car.
Should I buy, or should I hold off and look for something else? Thanks in advance to all those who reply and offer some insight!

That is not a car to drive from here to there with that mileage. It is an endless money pit run away
