Hi Scotty,
Another question for you. I have been debating on whether or not to buy a 2005-06 Isuzu Ascender (basically the same thing as an 05'06 GMC Envoy), because I need something bigger for my photography equipment. Would this be a good vehicle to buy or not? Also, is Marvel Mystery Oil OK for the engine on one of these?

No way. Look for a RAV4 or CRV instead.

No, I would avoid it. They had electrical and fuel system problems. See here: https://www.carcomplaints.com/Isuzu/Ascender/
Also, not sure which engine option you are looking at but you’d want to avoid the 5.3 L V8 (Vortec LH6) introduced on 2005 MY and available through MY 2008. It had cylinder deactivation which will wear out/damage the engine over time.
