- 2014 ford fusion I was driving a 2014 ford fusion. The check engine light started flashing and as I pulled over I heard a clunk and the car lost power and wouldn't restart. I had it towed home and the codes that came up were P0012, P0300, P0303, P0340, and P0344. The two driver told me that at was probably the timing belt or chain. Any help would be appreciated.

Pray that the timing chain did not break, since they have interference engines and if the timing chain breaks, you should say good bye to the engine. How many miles on the clock? What engine do you have?
Just over 81000 in the clock and 1.5L ecoboost

the p03xx codes are misfires which are just symptoms of the first problem.

Hopefully it was not the timing belt. Unfortunately to me it sounds like that's probably what happened.
