My sister is wanting a car. She would like something bigger than a Camry, what do you think she should get, she wants is to only be about 5 or 6 years old at the most. I told her an avalon or lexus, are there any other good choices, also her budget is $10k, what do you think is a reliable big luxury sedan that can be had at around $10k that is not too old. Thanks!
I would avoid the LS because of the V8 engine but I would definetly recommend the Toyota Avalon they are solid premium cars larger than the Camry and there is always the Lexus ES350 which is basically a more luxurious Camry. I'd prefer the Avalon for maintenance costs and the fact that it is larger though.
There aren’t really too many choices for a 5-6 year old Avalon or Lexus for 10K. If you find one, let us know, because that would be amazing.
I think there is only one Lexus that is bigger than the Camry, and that would be the Avalon’s Lexus counterpart of which I have no idea what they call it these days.

The Avalon’s Lexus counterpart is the Lexus ES as they share the same platform.

The ES from the time era is the Toyota K platform which ALSO includes the Camry from 2001-2017 (as well as the Avalon). The Avalon is basically a premium Camry and the ES is a luxury Camry is how I look at it.
