2006 Kia Sedona LX - Question about coolant...

Hey everyone!

I just recently got a 2006 Kia Sedona LX from a good friend of mine.  It has the 3.8L V6 and has almost 155,000 on it.  I noticed the overflow is nearly empty of coolant although the radiator is full.  I've been doing some research.  I have (2) gallon jugs of Super Tech 50/50 Universal coolant.  I had purchased it for my other vehicle, which is currently down at the moment, a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT that's been leaking coolant.  I've read about asian vehicles needing a certain type of coolant, such as Zerex Asian or something similar.  Can I use the Super Tech 50/50 Universal to add to the overflow to bring it up to level or do I need to get the Zerex Asian or something similar to it?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Tommy

Don't mix coolants of differing chemistry. Use the coolant specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
