Hey Scotty😀 Are you familiar with the Lexus is250 rattle on cold startup? If so let me know what I can do. In my research it’s supposedly a design flaw of the cam gear lock pin. Thanks !😀

Rattle at startup is an indication of timing chain component failure, either the chains themselves, the guides, the tensioners or all of the above. Failure to address this issue could cause a catastrophic engine damage.

How long does the rattle last? I'm with @Doc on this one. You need to take care of it.
