2006 Lexus RX400h hybrid 178,000 miles - how much longer will it last?

I have a 2006 Lexus RX400h hybrid with 178,000 miles on it.

Was wondering how much longer it will last before it costs more to repair than it is worth.  Someone said that battery life depends on climate; I live near Detroit.

I have had the exhaust system replaced already.

Is it worth replacing the battery, once it dies?

The reason I ask is because I have some dents and dings on the front and also some small rust spots I plan to fix and I'm trying to decide if I should just take the car to the cheapest body shop I can find, since it might not last many more years.

Thanks.

You can have the hybrid battery test to see how good it is now. Although the generator is another thing you need to think about it. If you want to put a new battery, you better off with OEM one and it will cost a fortune.
