Hey Scotty my car is a BMW 2002 318i Sunroof automatic 156,732km for some reason it started to act weird when I come to a complete stop and press my foot on the gas pedal the car starts to go slow but it was Revving high but no speed like something was holding it back so I pulled over to a parking lot, turn off the car and started it up again. It was doing the same thing so I turn it off one more time and back on and it started to act normal like it NEVER HAPPENED. The last thing I worked on it was replacing the brake pads because it was Squealing. So what can be the problem? I live in Germany and I bought the car from a US military guy but it’s a old German BMW version. Thank you for the help
EDITED: why My car is moving slower than Molasses when I’m smashing my foot on the gas pedal but then when I turn it off and on it acts normal?
So we have to wait for Tuesday to get it check out due to holidays but I did my own inspection on my transmission fluid and to find out it’s very dirty black with a little hint of red like it never been changed at all and the dip stick Indicator had started to fall apart
I’m still gonna get it check out but y’all the transmission is the problem
The transmission isn't engaging. If your fluid level is full, then have transmission shop look at it.
