Is there any way to replace the expansion valve on a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant 2.4L without taking out the dash?

You don't have to take the whole dash apart as a matter of fact the labor book only gives 2.1 hours labor to do it you can take the glove box out and you can wiggle a bunch of crap around in there and get the evaporator case out to get to the expansion valve.
