Hi Scotty, my 2006 mitsubishi galant making cracking noise at front wheel area when start moving in cold weather and engine still cold but it will gone after awhile (engine getting hot), Pls tell me why and how to fix it, Thank You.
You need to take it to a wheel and tire shop/mechanic you trust and get it inspected. I know car noises and cracking is not a good one. Things to check if you can jack the care up. Go to where the noise is coming from look for any damage. Try and push the edges of the tire up and down and right to left and back. If theres any play at all there's an issue with the suspension.
