***overheating when driving awhile back.

Good morning Scotty,

Awhile back when I was driving the Murano, it overheated, saw the temp gauge go Hot and suddenly pulled over. Since then I haven’t drove it since.

when I turn the engine over I notice after running engine, temperature goes half way temp. When I shut off the engine, I have noticed that radiator fluid is leaking from the bottom? I am not sure if it’s a upper or bottom hose, thermostat, or water pump?
we replaced the radiator, thermostat, and hoses back in 2018.
Thank you for your assistance and greatly appreciated mechanical advice!

Best regards,

You’ll need to figure out where it’s coming from. If it is the water pump it will be coming from around the ac compressor because there is a weep hole. Could be the radiator or hoses and those vehicles the oil cooler tube along the bottom passenger side of engine they would rust and leak

Was the radiator & hoses replaced before or after the car overheated?

Find the source of the leak using this method -
