2006 Nissan Murano SL AWD. Help! I accidentally flicked the wiper blades on when there was a few inches of snow on my windshield. It hesitated to move at first and now it won't move at all. What can I do to try and fix this? Please help, I don't have much money to fix it.

If tightening the nuts doesn’t work your going to have to remove the cowl most likely one of the pivots came off

Update:

I opened up the wiper motor compartment and found a linkage was disconnected. Due to aging the rubber sockets are old and a bit sticky. I pressed them back together and now my wipers work like new.

It took me about an hour to reassemble and now I'm safe if it snows or rains!

Tighten down the wiper bolts, they probably  were loose and the weight of the snow  loosened them all the way and now its just slipping

I'll give that a try. They are buzzing as if they're loose.
