Scotty,

I've worn out my 1994 Silverado 1500 towing my two Antique cars up and down the west coast. The Chevy has been a dependable truck and while a little under powered, has done everything I've asked of it. But now I'm looking for a good used truck that can tow my cars (one at a time). The Nissan seems to have the right numbers (horsepower and torque) and good fuel mileage, but I've also come across a F-350 with 100K and the 6.8 V10 engine. From what I've read the fuel miles is a little worse than my Chevy when towing, but with 425 lbs of torque it can out tow the Chevy big time. What do you think? My main preference is how well a truck can two, especially up the mountains around here.

Is the Nissan a Cummins Diesel? If so you might want to steer clear of that.

Gas Ford 6.8 is pretty much bullet proof once you change all 10 coils and plugs.
