My car is giving me a code saying the purge valve is failing. This is a common issue on these cars (the valve will stick open or closed). Is there any way to clean or fix the issue without replacing the part? It’s $150 for the whole assembly.

Kinda need a year make and model to try and help? Canister purge valves do fail at times. I mostly see it in older vehicles.
I'm not sure why they didn't show up but it is the 2015 Ford Focus SE with the 1.0L Ecoboost.
